To stop thinking like Hunter, for either Irruel or myself, is to cease
to be. It is who we are, we can't just -stop- being who we are, and that
is an unfair request to make of him.

The Hunt is not solely about killing. This I tried to teach you, and
this I failed. That I lacked as a teacher, and I am duly sorry that I
failed to impress upon you the meaning of the Hunt.

This is not a public matter. Even though you have brought other
organizations into it, that does not change the fact that when you boil
all the drama out, this is between you and Talinon. I have personally
told you what I feel, and I will say it again here: for the accusations
of treason levied against you, I find that utter dragon dung. I have
taken the matter up with those who accused you, and voiced my
displeasure. Now that I have the authority to do something about it
within the organization I am entrusted to lead, rest assured that I
-will- be consulting other leaders and determining the fair thing to do
about the mistake I feel has been made.

My friend is still somewhere inside you, I know it. But when it comes to
friends over wanton destruction of forest, you know where my heart is. I
am deeply sorry if it will have to come to that, but I will not Hunt you
if it does. I feel the breaking of our friendship at that juncture will
be punishment enough.
