Greetings Aetolians,
It is with great hope and certainty that I inform all of you that the
City-State of Ashtan has slowly begun to rebuild itself, climbing out of
the mire of stagnation it seemed doomed to sink in. With the aid of new
citizens, and many old citizens desiring a fresh start, we have managed
to start a new chapter in the history of the City. We have begun to
march forwards, careful not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
As such, it is time for change in the City. We have already unenemied
all those that had offended Ashtan in the past, in hopes of starting
with a clean slate. Currently discussions are under way with all the
other Cities in the hope of establishing new and mutually beneficial
treaties that respect the new goals of Ashtan.
The City is becoming stronger with each passing moment, but there is
always room for growth. Under its new leadership, the City of Ashtan and
all its citizens wish to inform the general populace that we are
inducting new members who wish to forge a new destiny within the City.
Also, any established Guild that is seeking a new home will be more than
welcome in Ashtan. A City not tainted by past ideals that have rusted
under the weight of time. Such Guilds will find the leadership of Ashtan
willing to work with them to ensure a safe home inside the walls of the
City. So committed are we in this goal that the City is willing to
assist with any associated costs of moving.
I eagerly await the reply of all Guildmasters to this invitation.
Farewell,
Lord Arslen Ohmsford, Overseer of a City Reborn
Penned by my hand on the 7th of Khepary, in the year 141 MA.
