Some years ago, I was taken quite by surprise when the wizard Hycanthus
adressed me as I passed through his home on a landmarking trip. We
proceeded to have an in-depth conversation about the Gods and Godesses
of Aetolia, and their true natures and agendas. In that conversation, I
found a single idea which took root in my mind and refused to leave,
stuck like a kernel between the teeth that cannot be dislodged by any
amount of effort. So I left it there. And it grew.

I now watch with growing dismay and sinking heart as the armies of
"light" and "darkness", "good" and "evil", amass once again, brandishing
all the rhetoric that everyone holds so dear. It seems it's easier to
wield heavyhanded ideas such as these than to actually sit and think
about where this is all going. It is in this climate that my ideas have
begun to grow take form.

I make this post to request an audience with the wizard Hycanthus, a
series of councils and debates in hopes that I will be able to clear up
the last few weaknesses in what I believe to be a very sound argument,
not just against this war, but against these black and white ideals
which are thrown so recklessly about, as if we were children destroying
our toys because we could not have our way.

Hoping that honour will conquer death, or at the very minimum fear,
