Pale Skin?

Because of our unfortunately perpetual sunlight allergy, due to our pale
skin?

Let me explain something to you. Pale skin is an effect of not being
exposed to the sun. Those of us, like myself, with darker complexions
are darker because we live in the sun. Your allergy to the sun comes
from your choice to accept the Corruption of Vampirism. You chose to
become a nightwalker. Your pale skin is a side effect of your choice.
The pale skin did not give you your allergy. That would be a sunburn.
You may think it is your skin because that is what hurts - but that is
an outward manifestation of the internal "Gift" you chose to take.

I am not in the Fire et Lumina clan. Personally, I think they found the
only cure this world needs. A way to banish Vampires from this realm
permanently. If it were up to me, I'd start forcing that on every
Vampire I came across. But I understand that some wish to repent of
their ways. Those Vampires are helping the Fire et Lumina find a way to
cure the disease.

But, like it or not, I have a hunch the Fire et Lumina doesn't really
care what you guys think. They'll keep searching for the cure
themselves. Perhaps this outlash against the clan is based from fear.
The Darkness is scared once a cure is found, that there will be a mass
exodus to the sunlight, to the blessings of Light and the purifying
flames of Rahn. Scared that your mind control and hold on those you have
brought into your fold will dissipate. Scared that the Light will
finally triumph.

Walk in the Light, Daywalkers.
Burn in the Light, Nightwalkers.
