I do not feel that it is appropriate to respond to Abhorash's post, as
he's really not worth my time. Instead I have decided to write a post
that explains my intentions and beliefs, and the goals and truths of my
House.

Let me begin by stating that House Al`kaern is not in any way a part of
Bloodloch, should not be in any way considered related to the city. I am
no longer a citizen, either in thoughts or deeds. I am a free person,
and this is reflected in my House's beliefs.

House Al`kaern is the House of Free Beings. We are not bound by the
constricting laws of Abhorash's Bloodloch. We are a House of Freedom,
and Liberty. This is best reflected in the rules governing the Al`kaern
family.

I hold two rules dear to the House and my Progeny, leaving them to
choose and do as they please, within these two simple requirements.
Should my childer break these rules, they will be responsible for
answering to myself, and the Divine, should it be necessary.

Number 1) We respect all Mortals. We respect all Divinities. We respect
all Vampires. Those of the Blood, the children of the night, are not
above nor below Mortals. We are simply different. Our differences may be
great, but we share a responsibility of respect and understand for all
beings. It's my opinion that all should follow this rule, regardless of
their membership in my House or lack thereof.

Number 2) You follow the rules of the Divine. This means you must accept
and follow ALL rules the Divinities set forth. This includes(and
primairly caters to), the help scroll playerkilling. Should a breach of
any such rules be broken, you will answer both to me and the Gods.

Those two rules my Childer are strictly bound to. We seek to exist with
Aetolia's Mortals. I do not strive for Domination, and I seek those who
wish the Blood Gift, but do not feel they must control Mortals.

The Entrance Requirements of my House are as follows.
I allow all people, both Blooded(or Blooded Hopefuls) and Mortals alike
the chance to join me and my Childer in this. I will allow all peoples
of the Land, any who wish it, the chance and opportunity to become one
of us. I hold no grudges, and turn away no enemies. If you wish the
chance, it will be given freely.

Note, however, that you will not enter as a full member of the Blooded.
I will enthrall you, and give you a chance to show that you truly feel
as I do. Once you have shown such qualities, I will speak with you
regarding the Embrace.

And finally a note, to all free citizens of Aetolia.
You have my word, my sacred bond and oath, that I will never revert to
the cruel ways of Abhorash's Bloodloch. I treasure my freedom, and the
freedom of all. I do not seek to control or manipulate, I do not seek to
crush or dominate. I seek to co-exist with my Mortal brethren. I feel
that regardless of the differences between our races, the terms of our
existence... We can work together, to better life amongst ourselves.
There is no need for false aggression, or bitter hatred. We are not so
unlike Mortals as some would have you believe.
