I just wanted to post the obvious that you might all benefit from
my mistake.

I recently asked an acquaintance, whom I trusted, what she was
charging for cloth. She told me and I made my purchase. A short
while later, I checked the commodity shops of the land only to
find that this "trusted" merchant overcharged me by nearly 40%.

Now, I don't know about you, but I thought it was a lousy thing to
do, pretending the full burden was upon me to guess that she wouldn't
give me a fair price. A shame it is indeed when we cannot trust our
fellow citizens to treat us with the same respect they wish to receive
themselves. Shame on me for being so trusting. Shame on you,
Theragil, for acting so poorly.
