Earlier this morning...

Greetings, everyone. I hope that this post finds all of you well.
Let me get straight to the point. Earlier this morning, I was practicing
my Tekura forms, preparing my Mind and Body for a day of doing my best
to clear out Lower Azdun, a day that would ultimately end up with me
reading and studying by candlelight in the wee hours of the morning.
As I had just launched a successful moonkick at the magickal practice
post in my Guildhall, I stopped, turned around, and breathing deeply,
congratulated myself on a good exercise.
I made the mistake of turning my back on my foe.
You see, dear reader, the practice posts are alive. They strike back.
This practice post swung one of it's many arms into the back of my head.
With a loud -crack- everything in my immediate path of vision was
suddenly dark as the cords running from my eyes to my brain were
severed. Instantly, a paroxysm of pain splintered into my head, and I
could feel my Xorani lifeblood pouring out of the gaping wound.
I bandaged my head blindly, graciously receiving help from Sister
Shinobu. I crawled into a path of grass at the garden, and fell into a
deep sleep.
And now I awoke.
I am blind. I know not when my sight will return, or if it will at all.
I will, however, try to live my life to the best of my abilityes.
Thankfully, I should be able to sense most of what is going on with my
telepathic abilities.
My life remains in touch and sound only.
