To anyone who thinks that the hired mercenaries defending Ashtan are
acting with courage and valour, simply because they face overwhelming
odds in their defiance of progress, please read on...
I would have posted the log of this event, but it's easier on the reader
if I just summarise. Having entered the realm in the temple of our Lady
Slyphe, I was sought by Spirokai, Mephiston, Qunmai and Talia. What
followed was a stream of hangman, lust and web, as three of them kept me
bound while i suffered Talia's frenzy. My combat skills are far from
perfect but I wouldn't like to bet on anyone's chances of escaping or
surviving.
I have no concerns about having been killed. I wear my title as a badge
of pride. But this was no valorous display of combat. Apart from the
disrespect to Lady Slyphe spilling blood in her temple, to spend your
time hiding in holes while the waves of change crash around your city
gates, and then using your whole militia to gang-kill when our best
combatants are absent... well, form your own opinions.
In service of change.
Penned by my hand on the 15th of Chakros, in the year 123 MA.
