Progress for Ashtan

There has been much speculation in regard to this conflict. We have
heard tales of Ashtan being sacrificed to make way for an underwater
city, Ashtan being turned into a beach-head for hordes of stinking
nazetu to sweep through our realm, Ashtan being left to ruin like
Hashan, Ashtan being some kind of innocent pawn in a struggle between
good and evil/dark and light. Please be sure of only one thing. The
end-game in this affair is in the hands of the Gods and if any prattling
fool tells us they have some window into the world of the Divine, or
they know someone high level in some order who has, then they are as
wrong as they are disrespectful.

Lady slyphe, Lord Hearn, Lord Arion and Lord Severn have made their
motives known. They are clear and exact in their roles. Bloodloch and
Duiran have made their roles in the alliance clear. All parties who have
pledged their alliance have made their motives clear. Only those who
would choose to spread propaganda and muster support through false
rumours can not claim to be sure of their purpose.

There is a saying that when words cannot afford to be short, the message
is blurred on purpose. So here it is again -

Ashtan refuses to move in a realm that can no longer allow it to stand
still. Those who cling to the remnants of power in this, for want of a
better description - shopping complex, are fighting only to preserve the
stagnation that has afflicted the city for many years. The process may
seem harsh. War is never sweet, but what is better? Change for all of
this realm, or stagnation that threatens to seep into the progress
around it?

We act in service of change. If you would like to understand what this
means, we would be more than happy to explain.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Variach, in the year 123 MA.
