I, too, am neutral in this Ashtan situation, as I am not a citizen of
any city. However, since many well-meaning people have now been pulled
into this conflict along with those who simply love to fight and kill,
it seems only right to offer a bit more information. The hope is that
thinking people of good conscience will give this information due weight
as they consider their possible involvement in this issue.

I have it on the authority of two people who are highly placed in a
guild patroned by Slyphe, one of whom is also an Order member, that this
is indeed ALL about making room for the city of Kelsys. One of the
sources, who has considerable experience in city goverment, explained
that in order for a city to exist and survive, it has to have a certain
number of citizens, since commodities and other necessities are
determined by population.

Even though many of you are tired of reading posts, have your own
agendas or just want to get this over with, I urge you to take a few
minutes to re-read what has been posted by both mortals and Divine up to
this point. Ask yourself about the validity of this cause and the
validity of the means which are being used to pursue it. In addition,
please factor in that many people know far more about the events behind
the scenes, but are afraid to post their knowledge publicly.

Although many things about this action are hidden and will remain so,
there are enough pieces of the puzzle in front of you now. If you look
past the rhetoric and insults, and look squarely at the facts, you will
see what is happening. At least look before you leap. And when you DO
see, let your conscience be your guide.
