Greetings Friends,

I will be blunt, I have created this clan with the intent of guiding it
towards the creation of a new guild. It is with sadness in my heart that
I say I truly feel the guild of the Daru dead. Their path of light
forgotten in the name of personal advancement.

I ask that we all respect the Daru, what they stood for and what we all
believe in. There was much we gained by the members of that guild, and I
think many of us can be found here. We must not forget the lessons
learned, but we must not let them overcome us with emotion.

Now, we have much work ahead of us. We must develop our plans. I have
written what I hope we can all accept as our purpose, it was intended
for another but shall be adopted by us. It is our clan summary, CLANHELP
MAERLIN to read it.

As we do intend to be a guild, skills are an issue. My intentions are
the blade-tekura I have been developing, Telepathy and Healing. Before
any of you speak, these, as most things, are subject to change. I know
it will be difficult gaining Healing, but I was one of the realm's most
powerful at one point, and I expect that if any can teach the skill
again, I can do it. Telepathy many of us use these days...and the
blade-tekura, as yet unnamed, is still being developed. I've cut myself
quite a few times, but it's growing better as time passes.

Another issue which is at the forefront is a name I believe. The current
one is but temporary, and suggestions are more than welcome. After we
get a good number, a referendum will be held to decide it.

Now, as of this point we are simply a clan. We have our goal of reaching
guild status someday, but that could be quite far off. I don't expect us
to sit around idly waiting. I plan to keep us working like a guild.
Projects to help us furthur Light. Discussions of Truth and Valor. I
want us to work for our purpose, as that is more important than the
creation of our guild. Let us prove ourselves worthy of this, then we
may receive it.

I encourage you to post here, give your opinions, your wishes for what
you would like to see, advice and suggestions. They are all welcome and
nobody will be kicked out for speaking their mind. So long as you are
here to furthur the light and will work alongside us, you are welcome.

Lastly, I would like to thank Lord Arion for agreeing to patron this
effort. He has not been inducted yet, but that will happen next time I
catch Him in the realm.
