The Morgun Forest

Greetings,

I would have thought my post was quite clear in its message. The Hemlock
bushes attack anyone that enters the forest, simply because the Elder
Trees have not yet asked them to be more..selective in who they chooose
to attack.

Why have the Benandanti failed to express any concern? That could be for
two reasons. 1) They don't care or 2) They would have thought it would
be quite obvious. I think that the secodn one applies here.

Why should the fact I am a rogue druid alter my perception of the
forests? My life within a city has taught me why people have destroyed
the forests, and it has allowed me to teach them not to.

No one is free to destroy any forest. There is the ability to do so, but
users of that ability will get punished for its use.

The Morgun is significant because it is a ressurected forest and, thus,
it is important, not the tiniest bit more, or less, then any other
forest. Why do I not make these posts about the other forests? Because I
don't need to, everyone knows that the other forests are, usually, well
protected.

You obviously haven't spent much time within the Forest, Irawn, else you
would know that the plant eaters do "hunt" as you say. But their
destruction is small, and the Forest has learnt how to both control and
survive it, something that is quite hard to do when entire groves of
trees are being obliterated. Don't speak of something that you don't
truly understand, ever will change and adaption be a part of the
forests. These two forces both allow the forest to continue in its
uncontrolled growth, ever changing, and to adapt to the forces that are
bought against it. Should you attack the forest, it will be things that
are undoubtedly more powerful that will help protect the forest.

Also, to the Bahir'an House, I understand that you need to pass through
the Forest to get to your Castle, and Pass Through is all you need to
do. There is no reason why you should stop to attack a plant that is,
quite simply, doing as it was asked to do some time ago.

Perhaps you should inform yourself better, on the way of the Forest,
before you seek to banter words with one who has lived almost their
entire adult life studying and living with it.
