Greetings all,

I realise that I am not one of the Grand Trees of the Forest, but I
write this to perhaps enlighten you, and those you share your views,
from my perspective of what occured not only long ago, but a few months
past as well.

Once more do the Great Trees roam the Forest, they would have been
roaming the Forest for many years, had the priest of Thera not stopped
them.

This great event comes with its downsides, for those who live in Thera.
This revenge is not unjust, as you say. The meer nature of a Human
removes any property of innocence they may have. Humans are innocent
until they reach toddler-hood, until then they are innocent as they live
like most animals - Instinctivly. Once past that age, however, they
begin to think, remember and formulate their own ideas on what is right
and wrong. Can you truly say that people who would destroy that which
was willing to live side-by-side with them, simply to protect themselves
are innocent?

The Great Trees of the Forest were willing to live with the Therans, the
Elder Oak said so on many occaisions, it is the short sightedness of the
Therans that lead to conflict.

The Therans, as with the rest of Sapience, needs to learn that it is
possible to live WITH the Forest, as well as the remainder of the
Natural world, rather then controlling it or destroying it. Why take the
living wood, when you can take that which has already fallen? Or better
still, become a Druid and be given the wood, only then can you begin to
understand the relationship the Forest has with the remainder of
Sapience.

Can you support a people that would destroy innocence to protect itself?
Are you like some people I have spoken to? Willing to destroy the
Natural world simply to protect their homes? Perhaps, like those people,
you think we will find new ways to survive without the Natural world?

Perhaps, unlike those people, you will listen to what I say and realise
that the Great Trees aer doing what is right. They were willing to let
the Therans live in their homes. Why would anyone turn down a home
surrounded by Trees providing shade during the hot summer months and
trees that let their old branches fall to the ground, where they are
easily accessible for those who wish to use them?

Think about this, Think about the actions of those you support, Think
about whether you are willing to support those that would fight, rather
then live together.

The Keeper, Malhavoc O'Lyryuys-Ohmsford

Ps. Any who attack the Trees will be met with equal force. Just ask
Maurier.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Lleian, in the year 113 MA.
