A Peaceful Resolution

Greetings Aetolia, and the Grand Trees of the Black Forest,
To the Trees:
To recieve the vengeance which you seek, and to take over Thera
completely would be unjust. What the Therans did to you all those years
ago was in the past, and now the victims of your revenge are the
innocent people. To them, the war you and the Therans fought was just
folklore, or a long forgotten memory. Those who suffer now are not the
ones who imprisoned you within the sleep, merely ancestors. Are they to
blame?
Wars have casualties, and both sides have had many. Innocent trees were
cut down and slain by the hands of humans, and innocent humans were
slain by the will of trees. Whatever thirst for revenge you have, it has
been quenched. The land, once yours, which over the years has been
turned into the town known as Thera has been a big landmark on the
continent for years.
I was told you are neither good, nor bad but choose your decisions as an
instinct of self-preservation, as did the Therans. Is there any need to
force those innocent Therans out of their homes and slay many of them
down? If a treaty were to be signed, and conflict between both the
Therans and the Trees of the Black Forest were to cease would not that
be the key to your survival?
Please contact me via tell or message with your answer.
Be well,
