theft

Greetings everyone,

As you all may know a month ago most of Sapience were turned into
zombies, a curse brought on by biting and spreading the disease. Those
who were not affected (yet) scrambled frantically to find a cure, not
only to save themselves but for the ones who had already been taken.
It was then that Mordia, Death watcher, shouted that he had found a cure
but for a price of one million gold. Those unselfish enough to give
their money bundled it all together and paid this man, whom turned out
to be Lord Severn and left with their riches and no cure.
Now, a question comes to mind. Why would Lord Severn steal mortal's
money in a time of chaos like this?
I can come up with a few answers that I have personally thought up.
Perhaps Severn, finding that it takes lots of essence to turn someone
into a maggot simply because they do not bend into putty in his hands
like others do, decided that he was upset and thought of any way to
settle his rage.
Perhaps, finding that his followers had better things to do than to give
him all their money, thought hard on a way to make more for himself,
after all, he does look for personal gain.
It's quite low when a Deity must stoop to stealing just because he's
bored and selfish. I doubt that you, Lord Severn will give the money
back to its rightful owners, Ysni, Alisha, and Relandroc who only wished
to help and were tricked. You can state that I'm whining if you wish but
it's of no matter to me really. To steal from mortals is truly a new
level, hard earned money that deserves to go to those who have earned
it, not those who resort to theft.

Perhaps you can try ratting to get money next timeah, but thieves don't
kill their own kind.

Sincerly,
Sir Aren Ryokus-De'vyen
