I've read your rantings and held my tongue for months now wondering if
the Conduit of Knowledge truly held any meaning and perhaps you'd
discover your own errors in the dealing of the past, or perhaps it was
deliberate hypocrisy on your part, who knows. As it is evident that
one or the other is the case however, I feel compelled to recite to
the truth of the past with fact to sustain it as you appear to live in
the illusion that Shallam is the first to declare protection of a
village outside its own walls.
Many years before Spinesreach became an official city Exodus of the
Shadowsnake guild declared protection of Spinesreach from aggressions
within that region. (Public News 1097) Years after that upon
Spinesreach becoming a proper city the city as a whole and not a guild
with a few citizens extended their blanket of authority well outside
its own walls to cover the inhabitants of Tasur'Ke. (Public News 1239)
In the future before you are so presumptious as to presume that because
you hate Shallam citizens so much you can declare public outrage over
how DARE they protect a village outside of themselves I suggest you live
up to your title you proclaim and do some research. Otherwise you
appear as a liar and a hypocrite. The fact that the one doing the
protecting isn't predominantly evil or neutral makes it no different.
Now I of myself have my own opinion over this whole mess which is
known to a few, but before you speak with such condescension again I
highly suggest you read the posts I quoted to you. You are condemning
people for acts of protection you and your allies have done yourself
so if the issue over protecting villages outside of a city needs to
be addressed let it be, but don't be a hypocrite.
