Strung and his Protectorate

Strung has claims he shall protect the villagers of Tasur'Ke, Jaru,
Shastaan, and Thera, and will kill any who means harm to these
villagers. Is this true? Yes, it is, in a sense. What he meant to say
was he will kill any who means harm to the villagers IF they are not a
citizen of Shallam. A citizen of Shallam, who will remain nameless for
the time being, was found killing the children of Tasur'Ke by Strung
himself. Did Strung act upon his word and kill him? No he did not, in
fact, there was no fight, or warning traded between the two. So, it
seems, Strung has apparently decided to only carry out punishment on
those who are not citizens of Shallam.

A noble deed for him to spare his fellow citizens isn't it? Speaking of
noble, Strung, do you find nobility in the slaying of these villagers by
those stronger than them? I would not think so, or you wouldn't have
started this now would you? So, you decide to go kill all those weaker
than you to protect these villagers. Tell me, what makes it any
different? If you think your "protecting" someone, it justifies killing
one weaker than you? One that is more or less just defensless against
you. Ah, well maybe they deserve it for killing innocents, but would not
the truely noble thing to do is beat them but spare their lives and warn
them? I guess not seeing as you've only killed and nothing else. Have
things changed within the guild of Paladins? Do you still not value
Honor? Well, let me quote this.

"A Paladin is one who holds Honor above all. Every action taken should
be done holding to the highest standard of what is right."

Is it "right" and "honorable" to slay those who cannot defend themselves
against another? That is the reason why you chose to protect the
villagers correct? And of those that have no chance in heaven or hell of
defending themselves against you, you slay with without second thought.
Is that what Honor is within the Paladins?
