Paladins protect the innocent. Though we seem to have secured Shallam
the rest of the world is not nearly so safe. With this in mind a group
of Paladins, calling ourselves Swordsaints has resolved to as the title
of this article says form a protectorate over these innocent villages to
protect them from raiders who would "bash" their occuptants for their
own pleasure and profit. To put it in simple terms, if we catch you
attacking the innocent people of said villages then we will aid the
citizens in repelling you. To put it into even simpler terms, if we
catch you bashing there then we will kill you.
Everyone with Swordsaint in their title is a part of this operation. The
one except would be Kaga, and Dillon a Sentaari monk is going by
Kaisaint and is also part of the protectorate.
All dead villagers will be burried in or near their villages, either in
single or mass graves depending on the severity of the raid. All
defeated raiders will have their heads piked at the entrance of said
villages if possible to serve as a warning for others who would fall
down their path as well.
At this point the Swordsaint Protectorate includes only the above
mentioned villages. For various reasons, the neutral settlements of mhun
and ophidians, the Tomacula and the distant but well-intentioned leper
colony and grook village are not part of the Protectorate. Our reasons
for this include everything from the fact that mhun/ophidians/Tomacula
do not have a high alignment and bright aura as do the mostly human
villages, the lepers present the possible dangers of infectious disease
and are a great distance away and the grooks are also a great distance
away.
A single warning will most likely be issued to first-time raiders along
with a chance to withdraw peacefully.
