Cities and so on, and so forth.

Ah, yes. Cities.

Getting straight to the point, away from Shallamese or Ashtan or
Bloodlochian affairs. There appears to be a growing interest amongst a
few of us in what we all know, and refer to, as Hashan situated within
the splendours of the Ithmians.

Hashan, though it be an inscrutible puzzle and although nothing more
than tumbled statuary, weed and vine is a breathtaking place. Whilst
storms frequently batter its woeful ruins, leaving one to scramble for
what cover there is, and while it is often comforted by the freezing
embrace of snowfall, I say to you that there are a growing number who
wonder what became of it, and why it should remain an empty shell,
devoid of civilisation, unless you count Shamanic trolls (whatever a
'Shaman' is) ,as citizens.

I am one such who wonders why. The rest of you to whom I refer also
share my love of this place, and also are intrigued as to its past, and
a possible future, should the Gods decide it worthy of Their
consideration.

Accordingly, someday I shall be proud to buy a home for myself amongst
the rotted ruins of what some of us refer to as the 'Market' zone.
Expensive it may be, but soon it shall be time to put down roots - and
aye! the ruins of Hashan shall be my choice - no other City intrigues me
enough, save for perhaps in the general locality of Spinesreach.

Reminds me... For a newbie tour of the area, for those who desire it,
please do not hesitate to contact me. I shall be happy to show you just
how beautiful and wondrous it is. Similarly, anyone who is yet unknown
to me, who shares my love for this place, and has an interest in its
unmatched beauty, please contact me also.

As an apposite aside, in reply to Mistress Clio's post - Ma'am, I say to
you, with respect, that surely a City that casts such a blinding light,
even as far as Shamtota and Shaastan, and by the definition of light,
surely must cast shadows, as light must do. Shadows can never be
banished, unless the light too is snuffed out entirely.
