Before you accuse a friend of treason,
Be markedly sure of the reason,
fortify sometimes we see as betrayal,
Our sins by friends made portrayal.

Cast not blame till you debate,
Have I done wrong to deserve disdain?
Do not despair, for all scorn can abate,
And forgiveness can one obtain.
But cast not harsh words on dear friends,
Else friendship dear does come to ends.

Do not end a friendship strong,
Because a friend you did wrong,
And as another took offense,
You made hate your own defense.
End this strife, lest one reveal
The conflicts reason, which you conceal.

Friend, poetry is a form of conflict,
One side or the other must be picked,
But as one who was once a friend,
I give advice, instead of life end.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Chakros, in the year 127 MA.
