The Killer Night

The dawn destroys the night, Bleeding it out like the wound from your
claws.

The killer must awaken before dawn,
The killer must walk on down the hall
Before the dawn

Do you hear the Howling? Do you feel it in your bones? You feel those
subtle tones?

Before the dawn, Before the dawn. Do you hear the night screaming,
Bleeding, in the sunlight?!

Do you see it? You can't get much higher, As world sets on fire!

The dawn bleeds the night, Across the sky! Let the Howling roar, Let
the blood flow.

The hunter has awakened, Before the dawn, blood flowing o'er him.
Gore pouring out from his rends.

Paws guarding the night, Till the dawn is no more.

And the blood flows back into the sky, From which it came, Back to the
blood red sky of night.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Midsummer, in the year 373 MA.
