Self Portrait in Four Stanzas

Written by: Lycanthrope Amora
Date: Wednesday, July 25th, 2012
Addressed to: Everyone

I am strong
The power courses through my arms
Crushing jaws, slashing claws
The pulse pounds in my ears
The scent of blood on the air

The scent of flowers in her hair
The pulse pounding in my ears
A touch, a smile
And I feel my knees buckle
I am weak

I AM STRONG
Determination clenching at my jaw
Stratigic flight, Ambush waiting
I've never felt so alive before
My victory is certain

My victory is uncertain, an yet
I've never felt so alive before
Clumsily barging ahead, Embarassment follows
Doubt clings within the courners of my mind
i am weak

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Khepary, in the year 367 MA.
