BEAUTIFUL BLUE

I am alone
standing in the corner of my room,
bathing in the darkness,
looking ahead,
with my gray eyes,
I see before me;

A crack in the board covering my window,
allowing a single ray of light through,
blackness all around,
A particle of dust spins and turns through the light,

I shiver,

tinted yellow,
the beam of light,
relaxing my shoulders,
heart beating ever slowly,
will power keeping my eyes open,

tranquil,

the bright intruder then changed colour,
hot red,
like fire,
my heart is racing and my head is pounding,
my eyes bloodshot,
shouting with rage,
cannon balls of fists,

anger,

and then orange,
hazy orange,
heart pounding like never before,
feeling like I have kissed a girl I love with every part of my soul,
the very depths of my heart yearn,
I hunger for her taste,

desire,

The light then changed into many colours,
fast,
VERY fast,
my heart races,
and it then stops,
my heart burns,
then explodes,
standing in shock,

shivering,

The light then turns blue,
a blue like I have never seen before,
the light swirled and danced in enigmatic motions,
dazzling my eyes,
thousands of shapes form,
eyes growing in aw.
Swiftly and soundlessly,
it soars around me like an eagle,
then still,

everything still,

stopping in front of my face,
feeling out of breath I inhale,
the light shown brighter then ever,
a blinding light I am sure only I could see,
it hurtles itself into me,
had there been no wall,
I would have fallen,
I run to the window and tear off the timber,

stars shine brightly in my face,
moon hanging over head,

looking at my mirror,
noticing,
my eyes had changed
A brilliant bright colour,
amazing to me,
the most beautiful colour,

Blue.
