I offer to you!

Written by: The Silent Stalker, Cerulean Mirari-Snowbringer

Addressed to: Rahn, God of Fire

Great men I slay!
For the fire, the fire that burns, not even the greatest can fight
Many men I have slain!
For the fire, the fire that consumes, never truly satisfied
Many women, none innocent, all perish before my claws!
For the fire takes them, they lick and burn, cleansing the dead flesh
Many children I have killed, beggers who no longer live hungry!
For the fire takes them, bringing them to a better place
Many beasts I have slain, monstrous and wondrous!
For the fire, who will never judge, embracing all brought with warmth

I offer guards for you, My Lord!
For the fire, to protect the Lord where no mortal may trespass
I offer slaves for you, My Lord!
For the fire, to serve the Lord where no mortal dare thread
I offer men for you, My Lord!
For the fire, to build an empire of Flame, where no mortal can walk
I offer women for you, My Lord!
For the fire, to nurture and care for the Lord where no mortal
trespasses
I offer mounts for you, My Lord!
For the fire, so that the Lord will ride forever the ephemereal plains
I offer children for you, My Lord!
For the fire, to bring pride and cheer and joy for the Lord
I offer tradesmen to you, My Lord!
For the fire, to bring artistic talents no mortal may match for the Lord
I offer myself to you, My Lord!
For the fire, bringing eternal servitude where the dead are not
permitted

I give myself to flame,
Never thinking of whom to blame,
Eternal pleasure and pain,
But nothing will ever be sweeter to gain,
Then the approval of the Lord of Flames.
