October promotion – Aetolia is turning 25!

Hi folks!

As part of our 25th birthday celebrations this month, Birthday Giftboxes are back with a fresh batch of prizes!

There are two methods for obtaining a birthday giftbox:
1) Every 25 credits purchased from the website (www.aetolia.com/credits) rewards a birthday giftbox! The first 100 credits purchased comes with an extra giftbox for every 10 credits. This means that your first 100 credit purchase awards 14 giftboxes right away! In addition to that, every 500 credit threshold you reach will award an additional 5 giftboxes. That means if you buy 500 credits, you’ll receive 35 giftboxes, and every 500 credits after that will award 25 boxes instead of the standard 20!

2) Birthday giftboxes are also available for direct purchase on the website.

Birthday Giftbox Prizes
———————–
Each birthday giftbox contains a curated selection of prizes to help celebrate another year of Aetolia! Inside you’ll find:

* Credit prizes in batches of 5 to 30 credits (with a chance to roll multiple times).

* Iron Coins in batches of 5, and 10, with a lower chance at much larger amounts from 20 to 100 coins!

* Six brand new minipets: (NEW!) a snaggletoothed vampire bat, (NEW!) a gilded reliquary on spindly legs, (NEW!) a stick of haunted ritual chalk, (NEW!) a snow-white scapegoat kid, (NEW!) a fubsy, wart-dappled toad, and (NEW!) a snub-nosed kitten!
+ GIVE the reliquary any item to enshrine and it will show it off in its descriptions and on parade, until you OPEN it to take the item back.
+ Ask the ritual chalk to dance and it will scrawl a summoning circle for one of several very put-upon demons.
+ BLAME SCAPEGOAT to heap your misdeeds upon it and watch it grow ever more hellish, until you BLEED it to wipe the slate clean and start anew.

* Six steed whistles: (NEW!) a gloom-stalking owlbear, (NEW!) a fen-skimming strider, (NEW!) a smouldering wickerwork effigy stag, a tusked mezilkree, a dark, fiendish charger, and a rare white-cloaked gryphon (flying!).

* Style scrolls: leaping, crafters, ritualistic, ghostly, predatory, and spooky techniques, with a chance at a style point to spend at the shop.

* Compendium pages for: the Mannaseh Swamp, the Isle of Ollin, the Bakal Chasm, the Vault of Domor, Yuzurai village, and the Shastaan Warrens.

* Iterators for six different voxes: neural, reflective, arcane, cooling, knockoff, and bewitching.

* Chocolates, Divine oils, elemental globes, customisation certificates, silver chalices, 25cr artifact discount vouchers, and ilmenite puzzle boxes.

* Coffers containing pantheon relic pieces!
+ Every coffer also contains an additional coffer holding a divine phylactery piece!
+ Refer to RELIC LIST PROMO FULL for details on the pantheon set if you’re unfamiliar.

Additionally, all giftboxes always award either a city experience buff, an iron coin, or a consumable (e.g. yellow eye) alongside the other prizes!

Birthday Party Bonus
——————–
Celebrate with friends! Every time 10 giftboxes are opened in the same room*, the 10th giftbox opened will trigger a special bonus: up to 10 people present in the room will each receive a bonus giftbox as if they had opened one themselves. Gather your friends and open your giftboxes together to maximize your rewards!
* Note that this counter will expire after 30 minutes if not fulfilled.

There is also a global prize that’s triggered after every 500th giftbox opened, where one of the next 50 after that will give a bonus 500 credits!

New Character Bonus
——————-
* Any new character created during October is eligible for an extra 100 bound credits for reaching level 100.
* You’ll receive 25 extra credits at level 80, and remaining 75 at level 100.
* You must reach level 100 before the end of the month to be eligible.

Since it’s our birthday, you’ll also find two birthday giftboxes available for a golden keystone each in the milestone shop, instead of the usual one!

You can find birthday giftboxes available for purchase on the website at www.aetolia.com/credits!

All the daily login bonuses will be in effect throughout all weekdays in October for our birthday:
– Mondays: Double milestones!
– Tuesdays: Denizens respawn twice as fast after being slain!
– Wednesdays: Double XP!
– Thursdays: Increased critical hits!
– Fridays: Favours for everyone!

Be on the look out for a daily quest starting tomorrow, as well as details on the crafting and artisanal competitions.

Enjoy!
