Hunting Trees – Shapeshifter
Hey all,
It’s time for Shapeshifters to shine! The hunting tree for Shapeshifters is now available, feel free to check them out and place any feedback about it that you have into the Discord.
Again, if you need a refresher on how turn on the hunting tree system, please read ANNOUNCE #3865.
General changes alongside this:
Ferality
=====================
– New Skill: Jawsnap.
– Slashing now deals 20 bleeding to denizens.
– Jugular can now be used on denizens, but with lower bleeding values.
– Bite attacks in Ferality are now subject to dodging and missing, except for the rips.
* Rips excluded because you’re already jawlocking them.
– Spinalrip can now be used on denizens.
– Spinalrip no longer self-cures itself on adventurers after 10 seconds.
– Tweaked some Ferality messages and back end things.
* The connect message for claw attacks is probably the big one.
– Added Jugular, Spinalrip, and Jawsnap into the details system.
Shapeshifting
=====================
– Salivate now additionally removes any ability to dodge or miss on bite attacks.
* The intent is to document this behaviour by adding it to an ability.
– Fixed a bunch of cases where Salivate was proc’ing on non-bite attacks and such.
* I’m just basing this on the message itself, not its place in the Ferality skill headers.
* Messy, I know, but Shapeshifters are quite old and probably need some further organising.
Miscellaneous
=====================
– Raised the bleeding maximum on denizens to 2500, up from 400.
– Denizens now have slightly different messages based on how much they’re bleeding.
