April Fools

As you've all probably noticed, my last post was a tad on the untrue
side due to the overwhelming influence of the date. (Varian made me do
it!)
However, something I did not expect is the amount of response we
received from people who really wanted to help Aetolia. Although it was
funny to keep a count of how many people actually responded, I think its
telling that so many people care about Aetolia to want to see if
succeed. (Even if the idea is totally ridiculous, as I feel like it
might have been.)
Therefore, I want to encourage you all to start going out of your way to
apply for things like Celani. Being a Celani is not a binding position;
if you don't enjoy it you can move back to your mortal. You have a lot
of flexibility within the projects you are working on. And, most
importantly, you work on really great things that have the potential to
significantly affect Aetolia and you do so with some of the greatest
people I've have had the pleasure to work with.
Aetolia is largely built on the work of its many valuable volunteers. I
started as a volunteer myself from the lowly rank of Celani, and have
had great pleasure in the projects I've contributed to, from the
Dowager's plot and Scidve, to the opening of Spinesreach, and the many
times Bloodloch was mean to poor old Severn. Each of our volunteers have
similar stories of their times up here.
So, in conclusion, thanks for being great members of this community, and
if you have within you to contribute to it, don't hesitate to apply and
see what comes of it.
Happy April Fools' Day,
Belakai
