That's right, it's the very first instance of the new, improved Bardic
contest! I'm delighted to announce the winners - truly an outstanding
set of written works:

For the first time we have TWO winners for this contest. They are:

_Systemic Theophysics: An Introductory Guide_, by Prince Zahmekoses
Nebre'seir. A remarkable, comprehensive theory of the universe,
attempting to explain the nature of matter, life, and the gods
themselves. Required reading for any Aetolian theoretician.
_The Birth of the Paladins: Syvelium's Tale_, by Sir Arxalant Keian. The
dramatic and superbly crafted story of Syvelium, the first Paladin
Knight.

The runner-up was _Of Seyshonessa and Feyn'hor_, by Lessik Anyar. This
book recounts a myth concerning the origins of the great tree in
Khepri's temple.

Finally, two merit awards went to:
_The Second Epoch of Mortality: The Ankyrean Order, and Severn's Grand
Artifice_, by Nuincuiel Tyrell. The title sums up the contents quite
well!
_The Myth of Bleu_, by Gwendolyn De'vyen. A somewhat disturbing myth of
the origin of the blueberry bush.

Congratulations to all who won!

More information about the bardic contest can be found in HELP BARDIC.
The winning books may be viewed in the Grand Aetolian Library, or in the
Library section of our website at http://www.aetolia.com/.
