Hey folks,

Some of you have recently heard that Sparkplay Media, the company formed
by Iron Realms Entertainment's CEO, Matt Mihaly, recently succumbed to
lack of funding and has all but shut down. While it pains all of us to
see a project headed up by the founder of the Iron Realms not succeed,
ultimately this event will have absolutely zero impact on Aetolia or any
of the other Iron Realms.

Sparkplay Media and Iron Realms Entertainment are completely separate
companies, operated by completely different people. Rather than facing
financial difficulties, Aetolia specifically and Iron Realms
Entertainment in general are having one of our best years to date, and
we hope to continue the trend going forward.

We rely upon your continued patronage to ensure that Aetolia remains one
of the best MUDs on the planet, and our staff and myself in particular
want you all to know how incredibly appreciative we are of the fact that
so many of you have chosen to make Aetolia your chosen realm of play. We
have a lot of exciting new content in the works for all of you, and we
can't wait to share it.
