In appreciation of all that you, the players of Aetolia and other Iron
Realms products, bring to our community, Iron Realms is proclaiming the
month of April to be Player Appreciation Month! In recognition of this,
we will be increasing gold drops for the first two weeks of the month,
and experience gain for the latter two weeks. In addition to this,
Aetolia will be having a unique credit sale, through which you can gain
a number of special items that are not available through any other
means.
Individuals who purchase credits throughout the month of April will
receive unique rewards at five purchasing thresholds. For example, if
you purchase 100 credits, you will receive the reward at the 100 credit
threshold. If you then purchase 400 more credits, you'll have purchased
a total of 500 credits during the course of the sale, and so will
receive the rewards at the 300 and 500 credit threshold as well. The
five thresholds and their associated rewards are as follows:
100 credits:
- A customization certificate - Free item customization!
300 credits:
- A moist washrag - Remove stench or flames from your person anywhere!
500 credits:
- A clarion eyeglass - Increase the range of your Farsight ability!
1000 credits:
- A crystal divining skull - See the location of adventurer deaths when
they happen!
2000 credits:
- A mantle of dissolution - Prevent anyone from being able to follow
you!
The washrag is used with the SCRUB verb, and is significantly faster
than scrubbing in water. The eyeglass must be worn to be effective, as
is also the case with the mantle. The divining skull requires that you
have some form of Deathsight active to begin with.
You can give these wonderful items to another player of your choice with
GIFTWRAP <item> FOR <player>. This will put the item in a box which you
can give to that player. They can UNWRAP the item once they have it in
the inventory.
So again, thank you for being loyal players of Aetolia, and we hope to
continue serving to the best of our abilities.
