Notice Issued by the Offices of Mercantile Arbitration and Civic Record

Written by: A guard of the Esterport watch

Addressed to: Everyone

In response to continued inquiries regarding the late Voruzhak Tolance, Esterport hereby confirms that the Troll astronomer and practitioner of stellar sorceries was declared deceased during the month of Severin in the eighteenth year following the Creator's Monomachy. Tolance, long resident within his observatory tucked away in a back alley near Colbey Street, maintained extensive commercial dealings tied to navigational divination, astral prognostication, and the acquisition of esoteric antiquities associated with the firmament above Sapience. He was known to possess a great deal of business partners, all of whom held eccentric interests of their own.

Owing to irregularities surrounding the circumstances of his death, the matter was retained beneath formal civic investigation by the offices of Esterporean Constabulary and its Mercantile Arbitration agents. While persistent speculation amongst dockworkers, traders, and itinerant adventurers has alleged foul play, Esterport has issued no definitive public conclusion regarding responsible parties.

The city remains committed to preserving commercial stability and civic order amidst the circulation of rumour.

Following the conclusion of investigatory review during the month of Haernos, 18 CM, all property formerly held under sanction - including astral instruments, observatory furnishings, occult records, navigational devices, and associated curiosities - was released from civic hold and lawfully dispersed through sanctioned auction. Proceeds were directed toward settlement of the deceased mage's substantial outstanding debts in accordance with the mercantile statutes of Esterport.

Any further claims pertaining to the estate of Voruzhak Tolance must be submitted through the recognised channels of civic arbitration beneath proper seal and witness.

Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 9th of Sapiarch, in the year 19 AC.
