I've been getting a lot of questions about artifact tradeins and
exchanges, so I'll field all those questions here.

In general, artifacts can be exchanged at half value toward the purchase
of a different artifact. So if you bought an artifact vial for 40
credits but decide later that you'd rather have an artifact pipe, you
can trade in the vial for 20 credits toward a pipe (or any other
artifact). You must contact Me to arrange these exchanges.

In the case of an upgrade, for example upgrading level 1 strength
gauntlets to level 2, you get 2/3 the price of the artifact power toward
the price of the upgraded power. Qeddwyn is able to handle this type of
upgrade automatically, just purchase the imbue level you wish and the
price will be automatically calculated. See HELP ARTIFACTS for details.

In addition, since the best class of artifact weapons has only recently
been made available, through the month of October I will give 100% value
exchanges of artifact weapons for an upgrade to that same type of
weapon. So if you originally bought a venantium longsword for 800
credits, through the month of October you may exchange it for a Midnight
Blade for 800 more credits. After October you'll again get 2/3 value
toward a weapon upgrade, so it would cost about 1067 credits to upgrade
from a venantium longsword to a Midnight Blade.
