18.4.15 Iron Realms Celesmas Event

The fabric of reality between universes has thinned thanks to Varian tearing it open, and presents from other Iron Realms are unexpectedly finding their way into Aetolia! This has left Ironbeard in a state of consternation, because obviously if you're receiving presents, you have to give presents in return. And between being drunk, filling stockings, being kidnapped by his brother, and yelling at Junior, our poor gift-giving Dwarf already has his hands full! That's where you come in to give him assistance.

During the [0;38;5;040mCelesmas Event[0m (running through the month of December) you can send anonymous gifts with custom messages to players across all of the Iron Realms games.

- You [0;38;5;160mMUST[0m send a present to be eligible to get a return present. You will get one return present for every present you send out.
- You can send [0;1;37mone present per real day[0m.
- Each present costs [0;38;5;220m5 wrapping papers[0m.
- You can earn up to [0;38;5;220m10 wrapping papers[0m per real day (see below for how).
- Extra wrapping papers carry over to the next day.

You can earn wrapping paper in a variety of ways:
- Opening the Celesmas calendar.                        (guaranteed)
- Decorating the community Celesmas tree at v84021.     (guaranteed)
- Completing your daily bronze milestone.               (guaranteed)
- Completing any Tsinkin village quest.                 (guaranteed)
- Winning a duel in Sect.                               (guaranteed)
- Killing a superior denizen.                           (guaranteed)
- Killing denizens.                                     (low chance)
- Completing quests.                                    (low chance)
- Winning roulette or blackjack.                        (low chance)

You can only earn up to [0;38;5;220m10[0m paper per day. Note that wrapping paper is not a physical item. You can use [0;38;5;178mCELESMAS STATUS[0m to see how much wrapping paper you have.

- Note: the creature category sends a hostile creature to attack the present receiver.

For every present sent, festive cheer is generated, and once the festive cheer reaches [0;38;5;220m100%[0m, Flintbeard will stir to quash the celebrations. When this happens, Flintbeard will spawn as an elite world boss in the Tsinkin village (v28955) so make sure to go teach him the meaning of Celesmas spirit!

There's rewards to be had for defeating Flintbeard:
- Firstly, being part of defeating Flintbeard is worth a FULL [0;38;5;220m20 platinum keystones[0m! Complete your daily credit milestones in one swoop!
- One lucky person amongst those that fought him will also receive a minipet: a three-headed, black-furred pup.
- Three people will receive a bottle of Flintbeard's special XXX moonshine. The moonshine has 3 sips and provides the eggnog defences, with a beneficial twist: You can pick what defence you want! Simply [0;38;5;178mDRINK <moonshine> <CRITICAL/HEALTH/MANA/EXPERIENCE/ENDURANCE/WILLPOWER>[0m.

When you receive an otherworldly present, simply [0;38;5;178mUNWRAP[0m it from your inventory.

Each present contains an item matching its category, transformed to fit our reality. Additionally, opening a present grants one of the following random bonuses:
- A surge of experience.
- A handful of gold.
- A 1-hour double experience buff.
- A 12-hour blessing from Ironbeard.
- 1-3 bound credits.
- A 6-hour critical hit chance bonus.
- 1-3 iron coins.

Just as you can send a creature as a present, you can likewise receive one! Be prepared when you unwrap your present for you may have a foe you've never seen before waiting to take you on!

- Each item can only hold two stamps before running out of room - so share it with a friend to help them finish their collection.
- Food and drink items can be stamped too, but only if they haven't been consumed!
