9.5.1.31 Caprice

Ancient tales from the Age of Despair speak of tricksome Fae and their penchant for pushing mortals to truly maddening ends to give the land its bloody due, and darker fables hint at the grim fates of those who tempt the wrath of the High Courts.

Throughout the ages, cursecraft remains a consistent form of magic throughout all of known Aetolia, including Sapience and Albedos. Diverging from its sister practice of Malediction, Caprice is a branch of archaic Fae incompatible with the ears of Primals, its utterances bending sense and sanity per the terms of Fae whimsy. Rumoured to contain infinitely alluring promises and the secrets of raw temptation and animal magnetism, the practice represents the silver tongue of those Fae who would dabble in mortal dalliance, its every whisper a portent of utmost doom for those subject to a sylvan wildhunt.

Madness, mundane and malfeasant alike, manifests under the tricksome eye that is Caprice, one and all invested with the force to render a victim insensate and broken.
