23.3.1.1 Antiquated Crop

A RIDING CROP OF THE DRAGOON
----------------------------
The riding crop grants various mount-related powers. These powers will work for
whatever mount you currently have out and active, and the crop must be in your inventory to work.

Antiquated artifact salvage may be sometimes made available as part of a promotion. This salvage can be taken to Qeddwyn in Esterport, who will either work the salvage into an antiquated artifact, or will upgrade the level of an existing antiquated artifact you own.

Commands:
ASK QEDDWYN EXCHANGE <type>
This will turn a piece of artifact salvage into the specified antiquated artifact type (level 1). Only the person who the salvage bears the mark of can exchange it for an antiquated artifact.

ASK QEDDWYN UPGRADE <item>
Upgrades an antiquated artifact you already possess to the next level. You do not need to be the owner of the salvage to do this.

Level 1:
Your mount is immune to fearing abilities, will escape from the room when attacked, and will alert you if you're online when harmed.

Level 2:
You can now ORDER <mount> <pre-defined emote> or ORDER <mount> EMOTE <custom emote>.

Level 3:
You can now GALLOP <direction> <number> and choose how far you gallop. Cannot travel further than ten rooms.

Level 4:
Your mount will take 50% less damage from attacks.

Level 5:
Riding your mount gives you 1 extra point of celerity.

Level 6:
If your mount dies and does not have a bit or other way of resurrecting, it will respawn after 48 hours.

Level 7:
Using LEAP over someone blocking an exit while on your mount will cause your mount to kick them to the ground as they pass by, dealing blunt damage, stunning them for 0.75 seconds, and knocking them to the ground.

Level 8:
When you gallop, others will be able to follow you even if they don't have pacing or a similar effect.

Level 9:
Your mount has a 15% chance to intercept denizen attacks upon you, blocking it. This can only proc once every 5 minutes.

Level 10:
You can now utilise your mount to create a popup shop anywhere you like. First, place the items into your mount's saddlebags and then price them. You can then begin trading, and others will be able to ask about your wares and buy goods from you. Should you move or use STOP, you will stop trading.

Syntax:
  PRICE MOUNT <item> <price>
  BEGIN TRADE
  ASK <your name> WARES
  BUY <item> FROM <your name>
  STOP

This additionally increases the amount of items that can be held in saddlebags to 15 items.

Saddlebags are created by those with the Barding talent. This does not support most of the features an actual shop has and is a simplistic one item at a time system. Things like kegs, shelves, price policies, cache, etc are non-existent. Items will also still decay.

Level 11:
You can now MOUNT TRACK <target> to any outdoors player on same continent/plane instantly. Only works once every four hours. Does not bring any following players with you.

Level 12:
You can SNAP CROP to gain a cube effect for 10 minutes. Only works once per Howling.

Level 13:
You can CRACK CROP to gain a monolith effect for 10 minutes. Only works once per Howling.

Level 14:
Your Track ability now works once per an hour instead.

Level 15:
Any slain mount of yours will now respawn after four hours instead.

Level 16:
Saddlebags can now hold 30 items.

Level 17:
Your mount's chance to intercept a denizen attack is increased to 30% and has a 2 minute cooldown.

Level 18:
Any slain mount of yours will now respawn instantly to the stables.

Level 19:
Saddlebags can now hold 50 items.

Level 20:
Your Track ability now stomps over your target on arrival if they are an enemy, dealing blunt damage, blacking them out for 4 seconds, and knocking them to the ground. This is considered a charging attack and requires you to remain mounted after arrival.
