Trade Skills
NOTE: Most trade skills don't have a large variety of skills as the rely upon design shops in the game to purchase templates from. It is from these base templates that most various kinds of items are crafted, and dictate what kind of items you can create.
There are some exceptions, like Ceramics and Cosmetics.
Those who can craft useful items from wood are highly sought after for some of the basic staples of adventuring life, as well as some more esoteric objects. Vials, pipes, coffins, and elixir pots are some of the items frequently requested of skilled woodcarvers.

You can purchase and customise a glaze design from the ceramics shop.
Similar to how many designs can make use of dye, you can use glaze to give variable patterns to ceramic items. Anybody can make use of the GLAZE command so long as they have the appropriate items. Glaze has limited uses before it is used up.
The glaze design introduces two new fields you can set upon it:
DESIGN # GLAZE SHORT <text>
DESIGN # GLAZE LONG <text>These are what the glaze should look like upon a ceramic, while the normal appearance/dropped/examined fields of the glaze design should be describing the jar it comes in. You can optionally choose to include normal dye tags in your pattern short and long that will allow people to dye the ceramic item after it has been glazed.
GLAZE SHORT is a simple descriptor for the pattern intended to be used in appearances and dropped descs of a ceramic item, an example might be 'blue wave-patterned'. Do not use an article.
GLAZE LONG is a more verbose description of the pattern and will be inserted into the examined desc of a ceramic item. This is a standalone sentence and you should format it as a full sentence. To make use of glaze, you must first design an appropriate ceramic item that uses these tags:
- $(glazeshort$)
- $(glazelong$)Here is an example how you might set up a glaze pattern design, and a ceramic design to use it:
GLAZE DESIGN
Glaze short: $(dye1$) and $(dye2$) wave-patterned
Glaze long: It has been finished with a pattern of alternating waves of $(dye1$) and $(dye2$).BOWL DESIGN
Bowl appearance: a $(glazeshort$) clay bowl
Bowl dropped: A $(glazeshort$) clay bowl has been left here.
Bowl examined: Simply turned and thick-walled, this bowl is made from ruddy clay. $(glazelong$)Expected output (after dyeing it white and gold):
a white and gold wave-patterned clay bowl
