Dice

Your usage of dice is better than an average gambler, allowing you to take advantage of numerous modifiers.
Note that a dice may not have more than 100 sides, and you may not roll more than 20 dice at once. Spaces in the mods are also intentional.
MODS: DL # - Drop lowest, where # is how many lowest to drop
DH # - Drop highest, where # is how many highest to drop
ADD # - Add # to each die rolled
SUB # - Sub # from each die rolled
KEEP # - Only keep the highest # of dice

Loading

With a bit of sleight-of-hand you can swap in loaded dice to control the outcome of your Gaming dice rolls.
To use, append LOAD as modifier, followed by the numbers you wish to show up. For example, GAMING ROLLDICE 5d20 LOAD 4 17 15 will force three of the five dice to show up as 4, 17 and 15.
The success of this ability is subject to deceit checks (HELP DECEIT). Each forced value has its own individual check - the more dice you force, the more likely you are to get caught!

Fate
DescriptionSyntax: DECIDE NUMBER [low] <high>
DECIDE <decision1> | <decision2> | <etc>
DECIDE NEXT
Pull upon ambient essence to create a field of probability, entrusting a decision to fate. You can choose to either decide upon a random number, or from a list of decisions.When deciding upon a random number, the low value is optional and will default to 1 if not specified. The number range is inclusive of the low and high numbers.
When deciding upon a list, you must separate each possible decision by a | symbol. Should you wish to keep picking decisions from that list, you can use the DECIDE NEXT command to pick another decision at random until the initial list has been exhausted.
Other gamers with this ability, and those with the ability to read your thoughts, will be able to determine the range or list or choices you entrust to fate.

Fliptable
DescriptionSyntax: FLIPTABLE <table>
Sometimes a simple unsummon just isn't enough. If you are particularly angry at a game that you have summoned yourself, you can angrily flip its table or board over to dismiss it in style.

Bookmaker
DescriptionSyntax: BOOKIE
Create and open a betting book, allowing people to place bets according to the setup you have made. This uses a parimutuel betting style, in which the payout of your bet is decided once bets have closed, with the payout being the prize pool divided amongst the successful bets. As such, it's important that the bookmaker ensures they close their betting book before the match starts.
Note that attempting to cheat people as a bookie will find you with your bookmaking privileges revoked.

Quizmaster
DescriptionSyntax: QUIZ INIT
You can now host a pub quiz night! These can only be done at the common room of a pub or tavern. The SURVEY command will inform you whether or not a room counts as one - don't rely on the room description.
Once you've initialised the quiz, anybody there can play with the commands outlined under HELP QUIZ. There is no need to use the JOIN QUIZ command for a pub quiz.

Start planning a new lottery. The three types of lottery you can use are:
GOLD - Prizes are purely in fixed gold values.
INCREASING - Prizes are fixed gold, except for the very first prize which takes 50% of the cost of tickets sold to increase its prize. This, of course, means you get 50% less profit from ticket sales.

Commission
DescriptionSyntax: COMMISSION ESTERPORT [ANON] FOR <event>
You can now commission the arena of Esterport to host an event! This will cost you 15,000 gold to do, and your name will be broadcast to everybody as being the one to have commissioned the arena unless you supply the 'ANON' part of the command. The event will start automatically five minutes after your commission.
The events you can commission are: freezetag, baitgame, freeforall, bloodbath, survivor, corechamps, territory, hideandseek, inquisition.
You can additionally append MODS <list of mods> to the end of the command to add mods onto the event, though this will add an extra cost to the commission. Refer to HELP ARENA MODS for more details.

Summon
DescriptionSyntax: GAMING SUMMON <game>
GAMING UNSUMMON <table>Bring the games to you, where ever you may be! As you rise in Gaming skill, you will be able to summon a variety of different games.
Summoning a table will set you back 1000 gold, unless you summon it within the common room of a pub or tavern. The SURVEY command will inform you whether or not a room counts as one - don't rely on the room description.
Should you need to summon more game tables, such as for a tournament, you will need to pay an additional gold fee on top of the base fee for each successive game table. This is equal to 1000 times the amount of game tables you already have in existence.
Game tables will disappear after three hours, or when you unsummon it. Please note that this will interrupt all gameplay in progress, and any bets in progress will be lost.

FLIP <card>You can now make use of a deck of cards, made by a Woodcrafter, to act as a dealer or host of simple card games:
- Shuffling can be done in a variety of styles, each one cosmetic and having no effect on how the cards are actually shuffled.
- Tap a deck at anytime to return ALL cards to the deck, and order them all again.
- Deal out cards from the top of the deck to either yourself, someone else, or the table/ground. By default, cards are dealt faceup unless you specify facedown.
- Insert an individual card back into its deck. By default, the card will go to the bottom of the deck, but you can optionally choose to insert it into the middle or back on top instead.
- Pull a specific card from the deck. e.g. PULL EIGHT OF HEARTS FROM DECKEverybody can PEEK at a face down card, or a deck, to reveal only to themselves the value of that card. They can also flip a card to reveal its face to all or hide it again.

Build a house of cards for fun and fame! Start by building your house of cards in a secure location, then keep adding rooms and floors to it to build it higher and higher. If you have misplaced it, use the CARDHOUSE FIND command to get the name of the room it is in.Adding new rooms and floors has a chance of toppling the entire tower based on the height you're adding to. Certain conditions may also mitigate or heighten that risk - but those are up to you to figure out. Finally, a house of cards is flimsy and is at risk from toppling due to many other reasons as well.
Whoever has the current tallest house of cards will hold a fame line telling everybody such.

You can now handle a deck of cards with such dexterity that you can now perform a number of sleight-of-hand tricks:
- A false shuffle will allow you to appear as if you are shuffling the deck, but the order of cards will stay exactly the same (unless forced).
- When dealing a card, you can force a specific card to be one that is dealt.
- When performing either a shuffle or a false shuffle, you can force any number of cards to the top, middle, or bottom of the deck. You can force multiple cards per layer, just separate the name of each one with a comma. Each card forced in this way is subject to its own individual deceit check - the more you force the more likely you'll be caught! Example syntax: SHUFFLE DECK FORCE TOP ACE OF HEARTS, ACE OF DIAMONDS BOTTOM KING OF HEARTSThe success of all these abilities are subject to deceit checks (HELP DECEIT).

Deck

The deck system can be used for running advanced custom games that normal usage of your deck of cards might be too clumsy for.
This system does not have rigid mechanics by design, and requires all participants to be adhering to established rules. e.g. There's no turns, so players can act however they want whenever they want.

Wildcard

A master of cards is able to throw one with such dexterity that it can injure or even kill its target. All cards you pull from the deck deal the same damage, no matter their face.
