I've spread the rewards of the gold purses out a little. They now contain between 500 and 3000 credits. The average payout was around 1900 due to rarity of people trying them, and the rewards being a bit 'swingy'.

Still worth more than 750credits! Just more likely to fall inside the middle range than bad/good.
