Extermination

I am hereby warning all Metamorphosis users that anyone using the skill
known as "Maul" against me will risk being enemied by me personally and
will open himself or herself to retaliatory attacks by me.

That "ban" is very similar to the "ban" on extermination. Nobody can
stop you from exterminating, much as I cannot stop anyone from mauling
me. But once you do, you will have to accept the consequences. The rough
spot comes when those pesky Metamorphosis users use maul for things
other than attacking me. I have no right or reason to deliver
punishment. The same goes for extermination, however: if I were to
exterminate a room inside Ashtan, I would not find myself enemied from
the forests, but I would be enemied from Ashtan.

From there, the discussion goes into even trickier areas, like the
Tasur'ke wars. But I'm not here to comment on all the mistakes made by
both sides leading to the Spirokai stuff and all that. The point is
this: exterminating is attacking Nature. I imagine it would be difficult
to find Someone who would disagree. (side note: it's true that
extermination was used at least once to cull by Haern's Order, but as
far as I know, the ones who culled with extermination were punished and
the practice was discontinued).

Wow, that was a really randomish post. Sorry.
