First of all, it was Ikne that in his infinite wisdom, declared
war on a divine. For this, Lord Haern himself, waged the war, that
apparently Ikne wished so much. Now that he has seen the power of a
divine, he makes demands upon a divine.

Do not twist the truth, do not try to weaseal out of fact that
Occultist declared this war. One doesn't make demands of gods.
That is foolishness. A god will not cower to mortals, to think one
might is also foolishness.
This isn't about good vs evil, this is about making and being
disrepectful
to a divine.

You may not like his policies, you might not agree, and can voice that
but to say you'll wage a war, then make demands is disrecpectful.
That is the point you and others seem to have missed.
