I have been among the Consanguine for about 8 or 9 years now. Before I
was embraced, I had to work hard to prove myself worthy. I resent those
that say they were 'tricked' into taking the 'gift,' because you have to
work hard to get it, unless some rogue decides to share it with you...
but you cannot be tricked into accepting it.

As for a 'cure'... there is only one way for a vampire/Consanguine to be
reverted back to their original state of being: If the Divine turn them
back into their first state. Those that have been seeking a 'cure' need
not look further.
