Alastra and Spirokai have exterminated the Underground Forest, 20 some
rooms in all. Neither these nor other exterminated areas will be
replanted anytime soon as neither the Druid nor Sentinel guilds wish to
provide more essence to these two despoilers.

If you notice that herbs grow rarer and the landscape more barren,
you'll know the reason.
