This missive is addressed especially to those who follow the path to
Balance.

It is true, Lady Lleis will awaken if the Tree is kept in it's Renewed
aspect. This has been and will be a priority of mine and others who wish
to see her awaken. There might be some concern though from those of you
who follow the path of Balance that she will tip the scales, that
Balance will be destroyed. I wish to allay those fears, because her
awakening will restore Balance.

I am speaking of the Necromancers, and their unholy quest for power at
the expense of the living. This is no secret, although they foolishly
think their Art is only known to those who practice it. Everytime they
use their powers, they take essence from something living. It is even
thought that when a necromancer draws on the essence to use their Art,
they prevent a life from forming.

Those of you versed in the ways of Balance know that life and death are
in a cycle. Death fuels life, for without its nourishment plants can not
grow to feed those who derive their nourishment from them. But,
Necromancy is not part of this cycle, but an unnatural aspect.

Devotion is not the Balance of necromancy, although it is a powerful
weapon against its spread. Devotion does not create the essence that
Necromancy destroys. We need a goddess of Renewal.

Necromancers in their greedy lust for power, will lead our world to
oblivion if there is nothing to counter their voracious appetites for
essence. I urge all who seek Balance, to give this some thought, and
hopefully will work to awaken our Lady Renewal to restore the Balance
our world needs.
