These Trying Financial Times

To the dear citizens, drudges, and other residents of the Empire,
Word has recently reached my ears that the purpose of that whole business in the Akhenades was, in fact, so that you could bypass the tolls imposed by the Free City of Delve. As such, I would like to extend my apologies. I follow the Caretaker, the Heart of Sapience, yet I had not realized how severe your poverty had become that it necessitated you sacrificing over a thousand slaves to avoid paying a simple toll.
Take heart, however, for I have some options to help you out of your financial woes that we teach novices in the North, and I am more than happy to share this knowledge with you in the spirit of camaraderie.
If you find yourself in desperate need and dire straights, I have been told that your city has something of a beetle problem, and that Enzo will purchase them from you. When I was first striking out on my own, slaying pinchers in the Citadel helped me afford my basic supplies.
You can also go out hunting, as I am told that many of the wicked residents of Sapience, like the residents of Tiyeh Estiyi and Dun Fortress, often carry gold on their person that you can take for yourselves. Given your ways and history, I am sure you will have no qualms with taking from the dead.
If your living residents find themselves starving, I am pleased to inform you that I offer a free soup for the hungry in my shop in Esterport at coordinates 5390. Please, come avail yourselves, and hopefully it will grant you the strength to endure these trying times.
Should some of you be looking for meaningful work, I do purchase fish scales, snake oil, and venom sacs from your citizens trained in the arts of the apothecary, and I am also willing to offer odd jobs to those truly down on their luck.
I am sure with a little ingenuity, you will be able to pull yourselves up out of your apparent bankruptcy.
In friendship, and hopes for a brighter future,
Csethiro Cereddi
