The following is a Siroccian Geological Society reading report, meant for your safety.
ADVISORY STATUS: IMMINENT DANGER.
RELEVANCY RATING: URGENT.
In a worrying turn of events, the Siroccian Geological Society announces a startling shift in the Putoran volcanic range.
Despite nearing elemental equilibrium, the persistent imbalance throughout winter and spring has caused a truly catastrophic shift in the surrounding leylines, according to measurements from our academic colleagues in the Free City. The excess elemental energy caused a vast disturbance in the continent's leyline network, setting it to unknown fluctuations throughout the past two seasons. A heavy concentration of this elemental energy remains in the local area, though it is currently sequestered from the volcano's core; the silver lining is that this means there is unlikely to be an eruption any time soon.
Experts indicate that this disturbance will reach beyond our continent and, more importantly, will cause severe disruptions that will run down to Aetolia's very core. It is predicted to trigger an incredibly dangerous feedback period, causing major upwellings of unrefined ylem and creating an untold number of major foci throughout the realm.
We advise all civilians and commonfolk to acquire supplies and prepare for the worst; act as if this were an approaching natural disaster, and have a plan in place to shelter yourselves and keep your families safe. Do not undertake any unnecessary travel throughout the next ten to fifteen weeks.
Penned by my hand on Quensday, the 25th of Dharos, in the year 22 AC.
