Let us not try to manipulate the situation into being something other than what it truly is; a man who has realized, too late and with frantic breath, that he is drowning.

The Hammer does not waste its steel in the defense of those who lack the strength to be useful to the Light, nor its chains on those who are already bound by the weight of their own incompetence. You asked for sovereignty and we kept our distance. What you now decry as "damning you to die" was simply us respecting your wish to be left to your own devices, as it was by your own words that you stated you had no interest in being a pawn in some proxy war. That much was respectable. If the sons and daughters of the Aerie are dying, do not look to the Hammer for the cause. Instead, look to the reflection in your own blade.

So go ahead and spit on chains and break knives, yet you fail to realize that the most effective cage is the one a fool builds for himself out of pride.

As you stand on the precipice, staring down the path to your own demise that you led your people to, you have only incompetence and arrogance as your lasting legacy. You went to SWEEP with your palm upturned and you were turned away. You were rejected because you brought no value to the table. Under your leadership, you are not a peer to established nations. You are a burden they wisely declined to carry.

And now, with all other options exhausted, you stand alone.
