On meaning and purpose

Strife is not meaning.

To name every adversity Strife is to to reduce it to noise. When discomfort is praised as virtue and hardship as truth, without direction or aim, nothing is said. A thing defined as everything becomes nothing.

Strife for its own sake accomplishes nothing. It sharpens nothing. It builds nothing. It is a wheel that spins only to grind itself down to that same nothing.

Endurance has value only when it serves something greater than the self. Purpose does not announce itself. The most necessary acts are often carried out without witness, without acclaim, and without the comfort of believing oneself righteous for having suffered.

The world is not carried forward by endless struggle.
It is shaped by ambition, guided by intent.

There is no virtue in raging at inevitability.
There is only worth in what is achieved before it arrives.
