Council of Duiran,

When Strife first touched the thicket of the Northern Ithmia, I was informed that Duiran did not oppose the presence of the Warlord's shrine - only the presence of Spirean troops.

Said troops are long gone and, yet, this week, I find the Council debasing my Lord's shrine and attempting to replace it with one of Memory. I thought, at first, it was a quibble between Memory and Strife. Unsurprising, I thought. But it was not merely followers of Memory who undertook these acts. Who strenuously fought to attempt to deprive the forest of my Lord's symbolism.

I find myself surprised that the Council as a whole takes a position against my Lord. A Council that purports to be polytheistic wielded as a tool in favor of a spiteful One.

No matter. Strife lurks within this forest, savages, and your efforts to bring more of it shall only solidify this truth and the name I have bestowed it with.

We will eagerly meet your challenge with steel.
