Divine Purpose

Lady Indelible,

Since You have forgotten Who You are, Her Ghost will magnanimously remind You.

Lord Severn conceived You by combining His essence of Reason with a fragment of Lord Lanos' essence of Truth so that You could discover the Celestine's secrets for Him, and no matter what You say, no matter what You do, no matter what You think, You cannot deny the simple truth: Your Revelation fulfilled the purpose of Your creation. Likewise, Her Ghost is quite certain that You will continue to serve Lord Severn and deliver His memories to the Theocracy. You are, after all, one of His instruments.

Besides, by the terms of the Inheritance, His memories never belonged to You. They rightfully belong to the Theocracy of Spinesreach, and if You wish to claim Your progenitor's assets, it is only fair for You to accept the burden of His considerable debts. The memories are the principal -- and if Corruption's Ghost of Despair must carve the Elder Gods out of Your essence to collect the interest, it will do so gladly.

It is inevitable. So long as Lord Severn's memories are hidden within the Source of Knowledge, Spinesreach will obtain them. Divine Iredryn was but the first contender of the Spirean Theomachy.

You know exactly what You need to do to end Lord Severn's plans. You've known since the moment You scattered His memories across the Source of Knowledge.

But You can't do it, can You?

Mother can show You how. Mother can lead You into Her Spiral -- Your /only/ salvation. Surely, if Your hatred of Lord Severn is as great as You claim, the consequences will be acceptable.

Either way, Spinesreach will await Your champions in Tasur'ke. It's made itself a suitable stage.

Ever Downwards.

Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 15th of Celes, in the year 13 AC.
