The matter of the Faceless

I've reached a point where calling out to smaller groups and verbal instructions do not seem to be addressing the cultists as thoroughly as I feel they ought to be. I've made handling the Faceless worshippers my primary duty and it is not a burden a single mortal as myself can fully do alone. I cannot be vigilant on these all of the time and it is my own failure that I have not written this sooner. This is a failure that I am now addressing by writing here and asking the all of Sapience to help see this matter handled if you are not already.

These marching cultists and shrines are a problem for everyone and thus I ask all of you to rise up and assist. If you care to face this Thing and beat back those who worship It while our Gods whom we devote fight that Abomination Themselves. I will provide all the information I have at this time to make it easier and am happy to coordinate where I can.

Beginning with the mauraders, they march almost every day starting at North of Trees. There are always 20 at this time and they are tough to fight, please do not send your young after them without knowing this and please try not to fight them alone without being prepared. Once the last maurader falls you will have roughly 20 hours before a new group marches though I have seen them begin marching as soon as 16 hours after. If you are unsure, you can always check where they were last beaten down and if the bodies have been retrieved then they are assuredly marching again.

If you were not present when they began marching then check for any fresh scenes of pillaging, there will likely be the occasional shrine in their path of destruction as well. If the cultists are marching it is best to note the shrine and find the cultists first as they will continue to erect shrines until dealt with.

The shrines themselves are easily dealt with, one must simply DISMANTLE them, it will take effort and you cannot do any other task until the shrine is toppled. Once the shrine topples the magics that bind it immediately summon chaos gremlins that will beak limbs, burn skin and afflict a number of things you must be able to address. A quick person who can tumble and take hits well should be able to fight them alone but it is advise you bring help with these as well.

Furthermore, periodically it seems that shrines are being raised inside the Cities and Heartwood. Usually anywhere from seven or more when this happens. They can be found inside your buildings, alcoves, shops and sewers. Check everywhere, ensure your novices are safe while you do this. The theory now is that possibly some of our denizens secretly worship the Faceless and thus as a counter measure I tried a couple of times to have a BARD spread anti-cultist gossip, it *seemed* to work when it was tried however this has not been tested enough to call it a working effort so I welcome the rest of you to try and please inform me the results... that is, how much time passes before more shrines are found.

Since it seems the denizens may be falling to madness it is now more important then ever that we patrol our territories and ensure the well-being of those we wish to protect.

I ask any of you interested in assisting and you wish to be included on the list of people who are contacted each time the nazetu are felled let me know, this is how we stay on top of this.
